Backend Developer – Node.js (Expert)

Brief DescriptionWe are looking for a Backend Developer skilled in Node.js to build robust server-side applications. You will develop REST APIs, manage databases, implement secure authentication, integrate payment gateways, and work with third-party APIs.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js

Design and manage databases (SQL & NoSQL) and database schemas

Work with ORMs/ODMs like Sequelize, TypeORM, Prisma, or Mongoose

Implement secure authentication (JWT, OAuth)

Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal) and third-party APIs

Handle server-side business logic and data processing

Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews

Required Skills

2–5 years of experience with Node.js and Express.js

Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB

Strong understanding of REST API development

Hands-on experience with authentication and payment integration

Familiarity with Git, npm/yarn, and version control

Preferred Skills

Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha)

Knowledge of web security best practices and CORS

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Familiarity with Docker and containerization
