Social Media Specialist Job Summary

We're looking for a highly organized and creative Social Media Specialist to manage our daily social media presence. You'll be responsible for posting, scheduling, and engaging across all active platforms, ensuring our brand voice shines through. You'll develop content calendars, write compelling, brand-aligned captions for posts, reels, and stories, and coordinate closely with our design and content teams for creatives. A key part of your role will be monitoring social media trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm changes.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage daily posting, scheduling, and engagement across all active social media platforms. ● Develop content calendars and coordinate with design/content teams for creatives. ● Write compelling, brand-aligned captions and copy for posts, reels, and stories. ● Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm changes. ● Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. ● Collaborate with performance marketing and design teams to support campaigns. ● Track KPIs like reach, engagement, followers, and generate weekly/monthly reports. ● Identify opportunities for influencer marketing, collaborations, and campaigns.

Key Requirements:

● Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience managing social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). ● Strong understanding of content formats, hashtags, trends, and audience behavior. ● Basic design sense and experience working with Canva or similar tools. ● Familiarity with scheduling tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Hootsuite. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in running basic social media ads or boosting posts. ● Understanding of social media analytics and insights tools. ● Prior experience in an agency or with multiple brands is a plus.
