Power BI Developer

Brief DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with strong 2 years hands-on experience in data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M language), and custom coding within Power BI. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of transforming raw business data into visually compelling, interactive dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights.This is a technical, hands-on development role — suitable for someone who can code and optimize inside Power BI, not just build reports using the UI.Preferred Skills• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Embedded.• Write advanced DAX queries and measures to perform complex calculations and data aggregations.• Develop custom M scripts (Power Query) for data transformation, cleansing, and shaping within Power BI.• Build optimized data models (star/snowflake schema) to ensure high performance in large and complex datasets.• Integrate multiple data sources, including SQL Server, APIs, Excel, SharePoint, Azure Data Lake, and third-party applications.• Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage permissions within Power BI Service.• Work closely with backend developers or data engineers to optimize database queries and APIs for Power BI consumption.• Automate dataset refreshes, schedule jobs, and configure gateways for hybrid (on-prem + cloud) data setups.• Debug and optimize slow-performing reports and dashboards using query diagnostics and performance tuning.• Use Power BI REST API and PowerShell scripts for administrative and automation tasks (e.g., deployments, report management, embedding).• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable Power BI solutions.• Maintain best practices in data governance, report version control, and documentation.   Note: Kindly mention in the email subject "Application for the post of Power BI Developer”
