This role requires the selected candidate to lead the development team in India. As the head of software, you will work with the chief product officer (CPO) to execute the program of work. Eartheye Space is a fast-paced organisation, and you will be accountable for the timely delivery of a quality product. At Eartheye Space, we do sub-weekly releases, sometimes daily, and our major releases are timed monthly. We expect you to be hands-on and capable of coding and troubleshooting. Preferred SkillsWork Experience You should have:

At least ten years of software development and five years of B2B SaaS product development experience Managed a team size of at least two dozen members in a development team Development experience in mapping applications with knowledge of geospatial libraries Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming and APIs with hands-on experience in Javascript/Typescript and Python Knowledge of NodeJS and MongoDB is a plus Delivered under tight deadlines Worked in an agile environment with constant change Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development and deployment Clear communication skills—both spoken and written English
