IT Infrastructure Engineer

Brief DescriptionIntroduction

We are looking for 4+years experienced candidates for this role.

Responsibilities include:

Manage and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure. Apply patches, updates, and security fixes regularly. Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance. Handle user access requests, system backup, and data restoration. Support internal/external audits. Participate in IT change and incident management processes. Maintain documentation of configurations, SOPs, and change logs.

Preferred Skills Primary Skills :

Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (Debian, RHEL, CentOS).  Experienced in server administration, including user management, permissions, and system hardening.  Familiar with patching and update management. Hands-on experience with VMware / Hypervisor management and troubleshooting.  Exposure to monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, and SolarWinds.  Experience in backup and restore procedures using Veeam, rsync, or cron jobs. Sound understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and firewall basics).  Good understanding of firewall and VPN concepts.  Proficient in shell scripting and automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible.  Knowledge of version control and DevOps tools such as Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.  Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for application hosting and management.  Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure and AWS for basic VM and storage management. 

Certifications :

Certifications: RHCSA / RHCE is an advantage.
