Quality Analyst

Quality Analyst Position: Quality Analyst Experience Required: 2–4 Years Location: Infopark-Kochi Employment Type: Full-Time(Work from office) Primary skill set: Quality Analyst

Role Description: • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, and SQL queries to validate data transformations. • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. • Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems. • Validate incremental and full-load data processing. • Validate inbound and outbound file processing (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.). • Perform integrity checks to ensure completeness and correctness of processed files. • Monitor and troubleshoot file ingestion failures. • Ensure successful integration of files into databases.

Technical Competencies: • Strong SQL skills • Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing for data pipelines and file processing. • Experience with file processing (CSV, XML, JSON) and data validation techniques. • Familiarity with scripting languages • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Soft Skill Competencies: • Clearly explains data issues, test results, and defects to developers, data engineers, and stakeholders. • Documents test cases, automation scripts, findings, and reports in an understandable manner. • Works closely with developers, business analysts, and database administrators to resolve issues. • Coordinates with cross-functional teams in Agile or Waterfall environments.

Other competencies: • Experience working in agile development environments. • Experience in Jira, QATouch etc. • Experience in Jmeter, Selenium will be an add on • Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks as per project needs.
