Cloud DevOps Engineer_GCP

Brief DescriptionAs a GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will own the deployment and operations side of product delivery. You will design scalable GCP infrastructure, build automation pipelines, and manage Kubernetes-based deployments to deliver high availability and faster release cycles. This role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and security teams in a continuous improvement environment. Job Responsibilities: 

Architect, deploy & maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Cloud Build) Manage container platforms using Docker & Kubernetes (GKE) Infrastructure as Code automation using Terraform (primary requirement) Production monitoring, performance tuning & incident support Cloud networking administration: VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers, Cloud DNS, Firewalls Implement security controls using IAM, Service Accounts & Secrets Manager Automate tasks with Bash / Python Ensure zero-downtime deployments and smooth rollback plans Optimize cloud costs, resource utilization & logging strategies

GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Compute Engine Cloud Storage, Filestore, PV/PVC IAM roles/policies, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor Cloud NAT, Cloud Load Balancers (L4/L7), Cloud DNS Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Alerting Deployment strategies, HPA, Ingress, ConfigMaps & Secrets Experience with Helm (plus point) Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build Automated deployments for microservices

Linux administration Bash / Python scripting skills DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, troubleshooting latency & connectivity issues

GCP Certifications (ACE / Professional DevOps) Experience with Prometheus + Grafana FinOps basics – cost optimization SRE practices – SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets
