AWS Architect

AWS Architect Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AWS Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in AWS architecture, cloud-native design, and DevOps practices, with a strong ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect cloud solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, and CloudFormation.

Define and implement cloud architecture best practices, security standards, and governance frameworks.

Lead cloud migration initiatives, including application modernization, containerization, and re-platforming strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Data, and Application teams) to deliver scalable and resilient cloud systems.

Automate deployment and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Optimize cloud performance, cost, and resource utilization through monitoring and tuning.

Ensure compliance with security, risk, and data protection policies across all cloud environments.

Stay current with emerging AWS technologies and recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and developers within the team.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.

Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale AWS solutions.

Hands-on experience with networking, storage, compute, and security services on AWS.

Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

Experience in monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

AWS Certification ( AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.

Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven design.

Experience with data architecture and analytics services (Redshift, Glue, Athena).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
