IT Technical Support Co-ordinator About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive IT Support – Trainee to join the Group IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing technical support, managing IT assets, coordinating with vendors, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are eager to start their career in IT infrastructure and support.

Key Responsibilities:  Laptop Configuration: o Perform OS installations, driver updates, and software setup for new laptops. o Configure and troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.  Basic Network Troubleshooting: o Assist in diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi). o Provide first-level support for VPN connections and remote access troubleshooting. o Demonstrate basic knowledge of common network devices (Router, Switch, AP etc.)  Print Management Support o Provide basic printer setup, driver installation, and connectivity troubleshooting. o Assist in monitoring print queues and managing printer access for end users.  Access Control Support o Support the IT team in managing access control systems (Biometric devices, door access, etc.)  Asset Management: o Maintain and update IT asset inventory including laptops, peripherals, and accessories. o Assist in tracking allocation and retrieval of IT assets for employees.  Microsoft 365 and End-User Software Support o Provide first-level support for Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.). o Assist users in troubleshooting login, sync, and configuration issues. o Support users with MS Office and other end-user software installations and troubleshooting.  Vendor Coordination: o Coordinate with IT hardware and software vendors for procurement, repairs, and delivery. o Follow up on warranty and AMC-related tasks.  Documentation & Reporting: o Maintain IT-related documentation such as user access records, handover forms, and ticket logs. o Prepare basic reports on support activities and asset movement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.  Basic understanding of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and Microsoft 365 applications.  Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.  Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow in IT support/infrastructure.  Good written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette for internal and external correspondence.  Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills (Good to Have):  Familiarity with IT asset management tools or ticketing systems.  Basic knowledge of cloud services (M365, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, or similar)  Awareness of system security and data protection practices.
