Senior Video Editor Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly creative and proficient Video Editor to join our team. You'll be instrumental in transforming raw footage into compelling, high-quality video content that effectively communicates our brand message across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller, capable of independent project management, and stays ahead of industry trends to ensure our visual content consistently stands out.

Key Responsibilities:

A well-organized portfolio that effectively communicates your capabilities and creative vision. Edit and assemble raw video footage into compelling and visually appealing videos that effectively communicate our message. Collaborate with the production team and visualizer to understand project objectives and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual storytelling. Trim, arrange, and enhance video clips, incorporating transitions, graphics, animations, and sound effects as needed. Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content. Independently manage video projects from start to finish, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality and impact of our video content. Make seamless performance ads, thumb-stopper videos for social platforms and engaging long form videos for YT, Meta etc.

Key Requirements:

A well-organized portfolio that effectively communicates your capabilities and creative vision. Experience in editing short form content such as Instagram Reels/shorts, long form YT videos etc. Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve). Good working knowledge of developing motion graphics. Basic animation is a plus. Keen understanding of the cloud editing environment. Solid understanding of video composition, color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Creative thinking and attention to detail, with a passion for staying current with evolving industry trends. Experience with technical challenges and problem-solving needs in a video production environment. Ability to contribute in a video production environment. Strong interest in video production technology and agility at learning new products and features. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse & demanding environment and copes well under pressure. Ad Agency experience is a plus. Immediate Joiners are highly preferred.
