Front End / UI Developer

Brief Description Duties and Responsibilities: • Developing new user-facing features using JavaScript, React.js, that are highly responsive • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers • Construct visualizations that are able to depict vast amounts of data • Work and collaborate with the rest of the engineering team • Work with product team and graphic designers • Learn and understand user interactions • Research, analyze and recommend upgrades to our data systems • Prepare documentation and specifications for all deployed queries/routines/processes • Support the Development and Quality Assurance teams with their needs for database development and access • Be a team player and strong problem-solver to work with a diverse team • Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols Preferred Skills ·    • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model • Thorough understanding of UI development frameworks and its core principles. • Expertise in using JQuery and other JavaScript frameworks. • Familiarity with RESTful APIs • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools • Any kind of understanding of React.js and its core principles will be an added advantage • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements • A knack for benchmarking and optimization • Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}} • Proficiency with browser based debugging and performance testing • Must possess analytical skills and be detailed oriented • Strong multi-tasking skills • Minimum experience of 3-6 years in the above. • BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc Computer Science or equivalent   Bonus – Skills of Interest: AWS, JUnit (and related technologies), Java ReST, Big Data Technologies, Message Queuing
