IT Systems Administrator - Linux Patch Management

Brief DescriptionJob Description The company is looking for an IT Systems Administrator with experience in patch management for servers and workstations, to be provided as a service to its clients. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the update and security of client IT infrastructures, using advanced tools such as Microsoft SCCM, Intune, and Ansible.This role requires expertise in Windows and Linux environments, with the ability to manage automated patching processes using Ansible Playbooks. The ideal candidate has solid experience in managing security updates, patch distribution, and automation, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and IT security best practices.Main Responsibilitieso    Plan, test, and deploy security updates and patches for client Windows and Linux environments.o    Manage Microsoft SCCM and Intune for Windows patch deployment and endpoint monitoring.o    Manage automate Linux patching using Ansible Playbooks and scripting tools.o    Monitor and generate reports on patch status and system reboot needs.o    Collaborate with other IT teams to optimize patch management processes.Requirementso    Proven experience in patch management for Windows Server and Client environments using SCCM and Intune tools.o    Experience in Linux system administration and patch management using Ansible Playbooks.o    Good knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and Intune for Windows patch management and deployment.o    Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.o    Understanding of IT security best practices and software update management.o    Analytical and problem-solving skills to address update-related issues.Preferred SkillsPreferred Qualificationso    Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, SCCM, Azure Administrator).o    Experience with automation and remote management tools (PowerShell, scripting).o    Knowledge of ITSM systems for patch management.o    Experience in MSSQL Server patching, with a focus on security and operational continuity.What We Offero    A dynamic and stimulating work environment with a diverse client base and challenging projects.o    Opportunities for professional growth and continuous training, with support for certifications.o    Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and skills.
