Odoo Project Lead

Odoo Project Lead The Odoo Project Lead will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of Odoo ERP implementations and customizations. This role requires strong project management skills, combined with a deep understanding of the Odoo platform's functional and technical aspects. The ideal candidate will serve as the liaison between clients, developers, and business teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management Lead multiple Odoo ERP implementation projects simultaneously. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress. Conduct daily/weekly stand-up meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.

Client & Stakeholder Management Act as the main point of contact for client communications and meetings. Translate client requirements into functional and technical specifications. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and resolutions.

Team Leadership Guide and supervise functional consultants, developers, and testers. Coordinate task assignments and ensure delivery meets quality standards. Provide support, mentorship, and performance feedback to the project team.

Odoo ERP Functional Expertise Analyze business processes and map them to Odoo functionalities. Configure and customize Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.) Assist in UAT, go-live, training, and post-implementation support.

Documentation & Reporting Maintain project documentation including BRD, SRS, user manuals, and training guides. Generate and present reports to management and clients.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. PMP/Prince2/Agile certifications are a plus.

Experience: 5 years of experience in ERP implementation, including at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role.

Skills: Strong knowledge of Odoo architecture and modules. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with Git, Jira, or other version control/project tracking tools. Basic understanding of Python and PostgreSQL is a plus.
