Brief DescriptionDeviceDriven is contributing engineering expertise to a major fintech-led digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing a global-scale loyalty, rewards, and engagement platform. The platform enables millions of secure, real-time transactions across ecosystems such as travel, retail, gift cards, and digital assets — powering data-driven, scalable, and seamless customer experiences for leading financial institutions. Built on the foundations of cloud-native architecture, micro frontends, and AI-augmented development, the program is redefining how next-generation fintech platforms deliver user experiences at scale. What You’ll Work On You’ll join a high-impact frontend engineering team responsible for: ● Re-architecting and enhancing responsive, data-rich Angular applications used by global banking and loyalty customers. ● Integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs from a microservice-based backend in real time. ● Implementing dynamic UI workflows for redemption, travel booking, and partner product catalogs. ● Leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Claude) to accelerate delivery, improve test coverage, and optimize code quality. ● Integrating observability and analytics into frontend modules for actionable user insights. ● Collaborating with UX, QA, backend, and DevOps teams in an agile, data-driven development model.Preferred SkillsRequired Experience 6–12 years of frontend development experience with Angular and Angular JS and a strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript. 🔹 Core Responsibilities ● Design and build high-performance, modular UIs using Angular and TypeScript. ● Develop reusable components, libraries, and shared frameworks aligned with enterprise standards. ● Integrate with backend REST/GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient data handling and state management. ● Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Karma, Jasmine, Cypress, Playwright). ● Apply AI-assisted workflows for code generation, linting, and test automation. ● Work closely with design, QA, and DevOps to ensure CI/CD pipeline integration, accessibility, and performance. Technical Expertise ● Core Frameworks: Angular 9+ (mandatory), AngularJS (legacy), ReactJS (advantage), Node.js, Express ● Languages & Tools: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, LESS, Bootstrap, Material Design ● Architecture: Micro frontends, Angular Universal (SSR), modular component libraries ● State Management: NgRx / Redux / Akita ● Testing: Karma, Jasmine, Protractor (legacy), Jest, Cypress, Playwright ● Cloud & DevOps: AWS (S3, CloudFront, Cognito, API Gateway), Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions ● AI & Productivity Tools: GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude for intelligent code completion, test generation, and documentation ● Analytics & Observability: Integration with BI and tracking tools (Google Analytics, Segment, Mixpanel, Grafana dashboards) ● Security & Performance: OWASP guidelines, CSP, XSS prevention, JWT/OAuth2 for secure API communication Bonus Experience ● Exposure to fintech, loyalty, or e-commerce frontends (redemption, catalog, checkout workflows). ● Experience building white-label UI systems with configurable themes and modular branding. ● Familiarity with hybrid app frameworks (React Native) for extending web apps to mobile. ● Experience working alongside backend teams using Java/Spring Boot APIs. ● Proficiency in CI/CD optimization, bundle analysis, and web performance tuning.
