Node.js Developer (IoT Device Experienced) Backend Developer (Node.js + IoT Devices)

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and experience in IoT device integration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and real-time communication between cloud systems and IoT hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using Node.js.

Design and manage MySQL databases with a focus on performance and scalability.

Integrate and manage communication between IoT devices and backend servers using MQTT, WebSockets, or REST APIs.

Implement real-time data processing, alerts, and analytics for IoT systems.

Work with Redis and RabbitMQ for caching, queuing, and event-driven communication.

Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to deliver seamless data-driven experiences.

Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability across IoT data pipelines.

Monitor and troubleshoot device communication, API issues, and backend performance.

Stay updated with emerging technologies in IoT and backend architecture.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Node.js backend development.

Proven experience in IoT device communication (MQTT, CoAP, or HTTP-based protocols).

Strong knowledge of MySQL (database design, indexing, and query optimization).

Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.

Experience with real-time applications and microservice architecture.

Good understanding of API development and integration (web/mobile).

Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have (Advantages):

Experience with GPS tracking systems, sensor-based data, or IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Google IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub).

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or cloud deployment.

Exposure to Firebase for notifications or real-time data handling.
