Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our development team at Infopark, Kochi. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs for our healthcare applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities • Design and develop high-performance backend systems using Java (preferably Java 8+). • Build scalable APIs and services that integrate with frontend and third-party systems. • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. • Follow Agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews. • Document technical specifications, workflows, and development processes. • Mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions where required.

Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development. • Strong proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot) • Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture. • Solid understanding of Hibernate, SQL, and Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). • Familiarity with Git, and CI/CD pipelines. • Understanding of performance tuning, memory management, and multithreading. • Knowledge of secure coding practices and error handling mechanisms. • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or SaaS-based domains. • Familiarity with FHIR standards, ABDM, or NHCX is a strong advantage. • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
