Brief DescriptionDeviceDriven is contributing engineering expertise to a major fintech-led digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing a global-scale transaction and engagement platform. The platform powers millions of secure, real-time transactions across ecosystems such as travel, retail, and digital assets — delivering data-driven, scalable, and frictionless experiences for consumers and enterprise partners. Built on the foundations of cloud-native architecture, microservices, and AI-powered intelligence, the program aims to redefine how next-generation financial and digital platforms operate at scale. What You’ll Work On You’ll join a high-impact engineering team responsible for:

Re-architecting and enhancing core transaction modules — including payment flows, partner integrations, and data processing pipelines. Building AI-assisted APIs for personalization, fraud prevention, and dynamic decisioning. Leveraging cloud platforms for scalable compute, messaging, analytics, and data infrastructure. Using Generative AI tools (OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate development and improve quality. Implementing real-time observability and insights systems to surface intelligence across partners, customers, and transactions. Preferred SkillsRequired Experience 6–12 years in backend development (Spring Boot + Cloud required) 🔹 Core Responsibilities

Build, enhance, and optimize core backend services for earning, redemption, and partner integrations Implement high-quality, testable RESTful APIs with real-time messaging and event handling Integrate with Cloud services for storage, queuing, observability, and analytics Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensure deployment resilience and cost efficiency Use AI-powered tools (Copilot, Codex, Claude) to generate code, tests, and documentation Participate in data-driven monitoring, building reporting metrics into applications Support cross-functional collaboration with frontend, QA, and data analytics teams

Languages & Frameworks: Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Maven/Gradle Cloud & Infra: AWS and GCP and associated services Messaging: Kafka, SQS/SNS, RabbitMQ, event streaming, pub/sub design Automation & DevOps: Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub Actions Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Postman, integration testing in pipelines AI Productivity: GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude and various AI tools and services Analytics: Expose API metrics for reporting, connect backend logs to BI/monitoring pipelines Security: IAM roles, OAuth2/JWT, encryption at rest & transit
