Brief Description Creative Concept & Visual DesignDevelop original visual concepts and graphics for a variety of animation-related needs including character art, environments, marketing campaigns, pitch decks, and digital assets. Ensure every design aligns with the studio’s creative vision and storytelling goals. Expert Software SkillsDemonstrate expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign), and other tools like Figma or CorelDraw. Understanding of motion graphics and UI/UX is a plus. Team CollaborationCollaborate with directors, animators, and other creative departments to translate ideas into compelling visual outputs. Provide creative input during brainstorming and storyboarding stages. Branding & Asset DevelopmentCreate and maintain visual branding across multiple platforms. Develop style guides, templates, and reusable graphic libraries to ensure consistency in visual storytelling. Project & Time ManagementHandle multiple tasks and design requests simultaneously, often under tight deadlines. Maintain quality control and attention to detail across all outputs. Communication & PresentationPresent and explain design concepts clearly to internal teams or clients. Take constructive feedback positively and refine designs accordingly. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Skills Visual Communication: A deep understanding of how to communicate effectively through visual elements like imagery, typography, and layout. This includes the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and engaging visuals. Typography: Mastery of typography, including font selection, hierarchy, spacing, and how to use type to convey tone and meaning. In animation, this extends to kinetic typography – animating text to enhance storytelling. Color Theory: A strong grasp of color psychology, color palettes, and how to use color effectively to evoke emotions, create visual harmony, and establish branding. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts, provide feedback, and present ideas effectively. Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and solve creative and technical challenges that may arise during the animation production process. Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest animation trends, software advancements, and industry best practices.
