Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance architectures for open-source applications. Select tools, frameworks, and libraries to meet project and business needs. Lead end-to-end technical project delivery, ensuring quality and best practices. Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards, architectural guidelines, and design patterns. Resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities in the codebase. Establish and enforce coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices. Promote adoption of open-source tools and frameworks; contribute to open-source projects. Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers. Mentor developers, fostering continuous learning and improvement. Act as the technical expert, resolving complex challenges and roadblocks. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies. Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability. Foster innovation and experimentation to push technical boundaries. Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Java, Python, GoLang, or JavaScript.

Proficiency in open-source frameworks, libraries, and tools.

Expertise in architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless.

Experience conducting code reviews for large, distributed teams.

Strong grasp of clean code principles, SOLID design patterns, and refactoring techniques.

Ability to provide constructive feedback that enhances both code quality and developer capability.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Proven track record of contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.

Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, and version control best practices.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Effective communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in an architectural role.

Demonstrated experience leading open-source projects from inception to delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Redmine).

Expertise in security best practices for mobile and web applications.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
