AI Lead

Brief DescriptionECS Fin is presently looking for AI Leads. ECS Fin is an engineering enterprise that specializes in process optimization. Our software solutions, which include an enterprise messaging management system, a SWIFT certified transaction processing system, a post trade processing application and a treasury management system are used by different Financial Institutions and Corporates all over the world. We are expanding our AI Department to strengthen the intelligence layer of our enterprise transaction platforms. As the Head of AI, you will shape the AI strategy, lead a growing team, and ensure our AI solutions deliver measurable value across financial operations.

Location: Trivandrum, India (Hybrid — On-site Preferred) Experience: 6 - 9 years

Key Responsibilities

Define and expand the AI roadmap aligned with business strategy, identifying priority use cases in payments and compliance.  Design and architect AI/ML solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with enterprise platforms.  Lead and contribute to the development of AI/ML models for payments, compliance, and enterprise transaction solutions.  Translate client needs (ISO 20022, SWIFT, reconciliation, fraud detection) into practical AI-driven use cases  Select tools, frameworks, and platforms for AI development, deployment, and lifecycle management.  Collaborate hands-on with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to embed AI models into production systems.  Represent the AI function with clients, partners, and stakeholders while demonstrating thought leadership.  Preferred SkillsQualifications 

6–9 years of AI/ML experience, with proven deployments into production.  Must have prior experience in financial services, fintech, or payment platforms.  Experience leading small teams or end-to-end AI projects.  Strong technical background (Python, ML frameworks, NLP); familiarity with Java/J2EE enterprise environments is preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
