Backup Administrator

The selected candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and monitoring backup infrastructures for our clients, ensuring high standards of data protection, security, and operational continuity. Main Responsibilities: o   Configure and manage backup and restore operations using Commvault. o   Troubleshoot backup failures and ensure data recovery integrity. o   Monitor backup jobs and proactively address failures or inefficiencies. o   Optimize backup schedules, storage utilization, and retention policies. o   Perform regular testing of backup and disaster recovery procedures. o   Ensure compliance with data protection and retention policies. o   Open and manage support tickets with the vendor and collaborate on issue resolution. o   Maintain documentation of backup procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.Preferred Skillso   Minimum 1 year of experience in backup and restore management using Commvault. o   Strong troubleshooting skills in backup solutions and disaster recovery planning. o   Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments. o   Familiarity with storage technologies and virtualization platforms. o   Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation is a plus. o   Ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment. o   Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
