ETL Tester

Brief DescriptionJob Description: QA Engineer (ETL, Kafka/Redpanda, MongoDB) We are seeking a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in ETL testing, Kafka/Redpanda pipelines, and MongoDB to join our data engineering team. This role focuses on validating and testing large-scale data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and throughput in event-driven systems. Responsibilities include testing ETL processes, performing data reconciliation across systems, and validating Kafka/Redpanda pipelines (producers, consumers, topics, schema registry, Avro/JSON). You will be responsible for ensuring data quality through accuracy and high throughput, writing and executing MongoDB queries for validation, and creating detailed test cases and defect reports. Collaboration with developers and product teams will be key to driving quality across the data lifecycle. Qualifications require a minimum of 2 years’ QA experience with exposure to industry-standard process methodologies. You should bring strong skills in ETL testing, data validation, reconciliation, and Kafka/Redpanda, along with a working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. Preferred skills include scripting (Python/Java) for automation, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, and exposure to Flink, Spark, or other streaming frameworks.
