Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, and RESTful APIs. This role involves architecting, developing, and optimizing high-performance, scalable applications, establishing technical standards, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using the Spring Boot framework to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Implement RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality and ensure seamless system integration.

Optimize and refactor code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to best practice improvements.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the Java ecosystem.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues to ensure system reliability.

Ensure adherence to industry standards and organizational software development policies.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 5+ years of professional Java development experience, with strong proficiency in Spring Boot and MySQL.

In-depth knowledge of Java SE and Java EE concepts, including multi-threading, design patterns, and JVM internals.

Solid experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Proficiency in MySQL (or other relational databases) and writing efficient SQL queries.

Familiarity with modern version control tools, particularly Git.

Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
