In this role, you will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, craft robust testing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality into every phase of the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Design – Develop comprehensive, actionable test plans from complex business requirements to ensure complete test coverage.

Automation Framework Development – Build, maintain, and optimize scalable automation frameworks using Core Java and modern testing tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to make quality a shared responsibility across the SDLC.

Functional & End-to-End Testing – Ensure accuracy, performance, and an exceptional user experience through rigorous testing.

Automation Execution – Create and execute automated scripts for web and API testing using Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, and related tools.

CI/CD Integration – Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to enable continuous testing and faster releases.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting – Identify, diagnose, and resolve automation issues to ensure stability and reliability.

Documentation & Standards – Maintain clear documentation, reusable test cases, and well-structured scripts for scalability.

Defect Management – Log, track, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely defect resolution.

Preferred Skills

5+ years of experience in test automation using Java.

Strong knowledge of Core Java, including object-oriented principles, exception handling, multi-threading, and file handling.

Proficiency in Java Collections (Lists, Sets, Maps, Queues) and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, including dynamic element handling, custom wait strategies, and cross-browser compatibility.

Proficient in REST API testing using Rest Assured, covering request modeling, authentication, and API validation.

Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for test suite integration and automation pipeline maintenance.

Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, or Locust, with the ability to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
