This role requires deep technical mastery, strategic thinking, and cross-functional influence to advance test automation maturity across products, teams, and geographies. You will own the quality roadmap, architect robust automation ecosystems, and lead a high-performing QA team to ensure world-class delivery standards for secure, scalable digital platforms. Key Responsibilities

Quality Vision & Roadmap – Define and execute a long-term QA automation strategy across all product lines.

Leadership & Team Building – Build and lead a global QA organization focused on scalable, high-impact automation.

Automation Architecture – Design enterprise-grade automation frameworks for UI, API, Mobile, and Data layers.

Governance & Standards – Oversee functional, performance, security, and compliance testing practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with engineering, product, DevOps, compliance, and business teams to align quality goals with business outcomes.

Test Maturity & Metrics – Establish automation coverage benchmarks, release confidence metrics, and continuous improvement models.

Innovation & Best Practices – Provide thought leadership on tools, technologies, and evolving QA practices.

CI/CD Integration – Embed automation into pipelines for fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments.

Quality Reporting – Track and report on quality KPIs, defect trends, and incidents, implementing preventive measures.

Mentorship & Culture – Develop QA leaders and engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and excellence.

  Preferred SkillsRequired Skills & Experience:

15+ years of experience in QA/testing, with a strong focus on test automation and at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience building automation teams and strategies from the ground up in mid-to-large scale organizations. Deep hands-on expertise in test automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Rest Assured, etc. Proficient in modern programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left testing methodologies. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to compliance and regulatory testing (PCI-DSS, SOC2, ISO 27001) is highly desirable. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Domain expertise in Fintech, Banking, SaaS, or other regulated industries. Experience with AI-driven testing, predictive quality analytics, or model-based testing approaches. ISTQB Advanced Certification or equivalent credentials. Proven track record of scaling QA practices in multi-product or platform environments.
