Key Responsibilities:

Scalable Data Architecture – Design and implement robust data models, infrastructure, and pipelines to meet evolving business requirements while ensuring performance and scalability.

Team Leadership – Lead, mentor, and inspire data engineers and analysts to cultivate a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with product, engineering, business, and design teams to align data initiatives with organizational goals.

Technology Strategy – Evaluate, select, and manage modern data platforms and tools to meet current needs and support long-term vision.

Full Data Lifecycle Management – Oversee the entire data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to storage and retirement—ensuring efficiency, security, and reliability.

Governance & Compliance – Establish and enforce policies to maintain data quality, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations and internal standards.

Strategic Insights – Provide architectural guidance and actionable insights to support executive decision-making and strategic planning.

Data-Driven Culture – Promote best practices, consistency, and data literacy across teams to foster a culture of excellence.

Transparent Communication – Proactively share progress updates, highlight potential risks, and remove obstacles to keep stakeholders aligned.

Preferred SkillsPreferred Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in database development, data modeling, and architectural design.

Demonstrated success in managing teams or leading complex technical projects.

Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong foundation in RDBMS principles, with hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL database technologies.

Experience in the Networking or Security domain is a plus.

Practical expertise in API consumption and multi-tenant database design.

Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Talend, ETL tools, Hadoop, and more.

In-depth knowledge of database security, compliance practices, and regulatory frameworks.
