Key Responsibilities

Design & Build Scalable Data SystemsArchitect robust data models, infrastructure, and pipelines to meet evolving business needs and support data scalability and performance.

Team Leadership & MentorshipLead and mentor data engineers and analysts, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Cross-Functional AlignmentCollaborate with product, engineering, business, and design teams to ensure data strategies align with company goals.

Technology Strategy & EvaluationSelect and manage modern data platforms and tools that support both current needs and long-term vision.

End-to-End Data Lifecycle ManagementOversee the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to storage and retirement—ensuring efficiency, security, and reliability.

Data Governance & ComplianceEstablish and enforce policies to uphold data quality, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations and internal standards.

Strategic Data LeadershipProvide architecture-level guidance and actionable insights to support executive decision-making and business planning.

Promote Data-Driven CultureAdvocate for data best practices, consistency, and literacy across teams to build a culture rooted in data excellence.

Transparent CommunicationProactively report progress, surface risks, and remove roadblocks to keep leadership and stakeholders aligned.

Preferred SkillsPreferred Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in database development, data modeling, and architectural design.

Demonstrated success in managing teams or leading complex technical projects.

Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong foundation in RDBMS principles, with hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL database technologies.

Experience in the Networking or Security domain is a plus.

Practical expertise in API consumption and multi-tenant database design.

Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Talend, ETL tools, Hadoop, and more.

In-depth knowledge of database security, compliance practices, and regulatory frameworks.
