As the Senior Director – HR Operations, you’ll be responsible for delivering operational excellence across all core HR pillars—including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, compliance, benefits, and performance management. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record of measurable impact, deep expertise in HR tech and automation, and a passion for building scalable solutions in a high-growth, tech-first environment.

Key Responsibilities 🔹 Operational Leadership

Oversee the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, benefits, compliance, offboarding, and records management.

Design and implement scalable, tech-enabled processes that drive speed, accuracy, and compliance.

Champion automation and AI tools to enhance workflows related to hiring, employee engagement, and HR analytics.

🔹 Data-Driven HR Strategy

Establish a strong HR analytics capability to provide real-time dashboards and insights for strategic decision-making.

Track key HR metrics such as hiring velocity, payroll accuracy, retention, engagement, and performance.

Leverage predictive and prescriptive analytics for workforce planning, reducing attrition, and improving overall productivity.

🔹 Performance & Talent Management

Partner with business and HR leaders to enhance performance management systems (OKRs, feedback, appraisals, and talent reviews).

Ensure all performance-related programs are executed consistently, fairly, and in a timely manner.

🔹 Compliance, Risk & Governance

Maintain compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks across all HR practices.

Lead audits, risk assessments, and regular policy reviews to minimize legal and operational risk.

🔹 Team & Stakeholder Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing HR operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure smooth delivery of cross-functional services and a unified employee experience.

Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing data-backed insights and recommendations to enhance HR effectiveness and organizational success.

Preferred SkillsQualifications & Experience:

15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing HR operations Prior experience in product or technology companies with fast-paced, high-growth environments Strong hands-on expertise in HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems) and AI-enabled tools for recruitment, employee service, or performance management Proven experience in delivering data-driven results across HR functions Demonstrated ability to scale HR operations, build shared services models, and drive automation and process excellence Strong understanding of compliance and labor laws across regions (India/US/global preferred) Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in global or distributed teams Certification in HR Analytics, AI in HR, Six Sigma, or SHRM/SPHR preferred Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Tableau, Workday, Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, or other HRMS tools
