This role goes beyond simple proofreading—you'll act as the final checkpoint before content goes live, ensuring accuracy, SEO alignment, and adherence to brand and editorial guidelines. You’ll be responsible for manually reviewing content to detect low-quality or AI-generated material, ensure compliance with Google’s EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles, and drive continuous quality improvements across all content types.

Key Responsibilities Content Review & Editorial Integrity

Manually audit articles, blogs, and landing pages for grammar, tone, clarity, and consistency with brand voice and style guidelines.

Identify and correct factual inaccuracies, awkward phrasing, and formatting issues to maintain high editorial standards.

SEO & Content Quality Evaluation

Review on-page SEO components including meta tags, headers, internal links, and keyword usage for effectiveness and compliance.

Assess content for depth, value, and user relevance—flagging anything that lacks actionable insight or usefulness.

AI-Generated & Plagiarism Monitoring

Detect AI-generated or low-quality machine-written content using a combination of manual analysis and automated tools.

Conduct plagiarism checks to ensure originality and protect the brand's credibility.

EEAT Compliance Oversight

Verify author credentials and vet the credibility of cited sources.

Ensure all content meets EEAT standards, especially for YMYL (Your Money Your Life) topics, reinforcing trust and authority.

Quality Processes & Improvement

Maintain and continuously enhance QA checklists, workflows, and review processes to meet evolving industry standards.

Provide actionable feedback to writers and editors to promote continuous learning and raise editorial excellence.

Preferred SkillsRequirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in content quality assurance, editing, or SEO

Exceptional manual editing skills with strong attention to detail

Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and Google’s content quality guidelines

Proven ability to identify AI-generated content and assess it for human readability

Proficient in using tools such as Grammarly, Copyscape, Copyleaks, Originality.ai, or similar alternatives

Skilled at identifying low-value or thin content and providing actionable improvement recommendations

Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced content production environment

Nice to Have

Educational or professional background in journalism, digital marketing, or technical writing

Experience working with content management systems like WordPress

Familiarity with structured data, Yoast SEO plugin, and content scoring tools

Understanding of content compliance processes and fact-checking workflows
