Brief DescriptionPosition: Senior Director – HR Operations We are looking for a highly experienced, data-driven HR operations leader to lead and scale our end-to-end HR functions across the organization. As the Senior Director – HR Operations, you will be responsible for delivering operational excellence across all core HR domains—ranging from talent acquisition and onboarding to payroll, compliance, benefits, and performance management. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of measurable success, deep expertise in HR technology and automation, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, tech-first environment.

Key Responsibilities 🔹 Operational Leadership

Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, records, payroll, benefits, offboarding, and compliance.

Design and implement scalable, tech-enabled processes to improve accuracy, speed, and compliance.

Drive automation and AI adoption to streamline hiring, engagement, and HR analytics workflows.

🔹 Data-Driven HR Strategy

Build a robust HR analytics function to deliver real-time dashboards and insights that inform strategic decisions.

Monitor and report on key HR metrics including hiring efficiency, payroll accuracy, retention, engagement, and performance.

Utilize predictive and prescriptive analytics to enhance workforce planning, minimize attrition, and increase productivity.

🔹 Performance & Talent Management

Collaborate with business and HR leaders to manage and refine performance management systems, including OKRs, feedback mechanisms, appraisals, and talent reviews.

Ensure fair, timely, and consistent execution of all performance-related programs.

🔹 Compliance, Risk & Governance

Ensure all HR policies and practices are compliant with labor laws, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks.

Lead HR audits, risk reviews, and regular policy updates to mitigate legal and operational risks.

🔹 Team & Stakeholder Leadership

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR operations team.

Work closely with Finance, Legal, and IT teams to ensure cohesive delivery of shared services and seamless employee experiences.

Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations on HR operations and organizational effectiveness.

Preferred SkillsQualifications & Experience:

15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing HR operations Prior experience in product or technology companies with fast-paced, high-growth environments Strong hands-on expertise in HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems) and AI-enabled tools for recruitment, employee service, or performance management Proven experience in delivering data-driven results across HR functions Demonstrated ability to scale HR operations, build shared services models, and drive automation and process excellence Strong understanding of compliance and labor laws across regions (India/US/global preferred) Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in global or distributed teams Certification in HR Analytics, AI in HR, Six Sigma, or SHRM/SPHR preferred Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Tableau, Workday, Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, or other HRMS tools
