Brief DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned and data-driven HR operations leader to oversee and scale our end-to-end HR functions across the organization. As the Senior Director – HR Operations, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across key HR domains including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, systems, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of delivering measurable results, a deep understanding of HR technology and automation, and thrives in a fast-paced, tech-first, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities 🔹 Operational Leadership
Lead and optimize all core HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, record management, payroll, benefits, offboarding, and compliance.
Design and implement efficient, technology-enabled processes that enhance accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across HR functions.
Champion the adoption of AI and automation tools to streamline recruitment, employee engagement, and analytics workflows.
🔹 Data-Driven HR Strategy
Build a strong HR analytics function delivering real-time dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Track and report on critical HR KPIs, including hiring efficiency, payroll accuracy, retention, engagement, and performance outcomes.
Leverage predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve workforce planning, reduce attrition, and boost productivity.
🔹 Performance & People Management
Partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to manage and evolve the performance management cycle, including OKRs, feedback loops, appraisals, and talent calibration.
Ensure fair, timely, and consistent implementation of all performance-related programs and decisions.
🔹 Compliance, Risk & Governance
Ensure all HR policies, processes, and documentation comply with applicable labor laws, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead HR audits, risk assessments, and regular policy updates to mitigate legal and operational risks.
🔹 Team & Stakeholder Management
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR operations team.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure seamless integration of shared services and enhance the employee experience.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all operational HR matters, providing strategic input and operational insights.
Preferred SkillsQualifications & Experience:
15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing HR operations Prior experience in product or technology companies with fast-paced, high-growth environments Strong hands-on expertise in HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems) and AI-enabled tools for recruitment, employee service, or performance management Proven experience in delivering data-driven results across HR functions Demonstrated ability to scale HR operations, build shared services models, and drive automation and process excellence Strong understanding of compliance and labor laws across regions (India/US/global preferred) Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
Preferred Attributes:
Experience working in global or distributed teams Certification in HR Analytics, AI in HR, Six Sigma, or SHRM/SPHR preferred Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Tableau, Workday, Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, or other HRMS tools
