This hybrid role blends deep technical acumen with strong leadership to unlock the full value of data as a strategic asset—driving intelligent, scalable, and high-impact business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement secure, high-performance, and scalable data architectures that support current operations and enable future growth.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers, analysts, and specialists, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and technical excellence.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into reliable and scalable data solutions.

Technology Strategy: Evaluate, select, and integrate modern data platforms and technologies that align with long-term business objectives and data strategy.

Data Lifecycle Management: Ensure the performance, reliability, and availability of data systems from ingestion and transformation through to analytics and visualization.

Governance & Compliance: Define and uphold robust data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Strategic Insights: Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making and organizational initiatives.

Data-Driven Culture: Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making by promoting alignment across teams on shared KPIs and data priorities.

Leadership Communication: Communicate progress, key milestones, and potential risks to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability across all data initiatives.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in database development, data modeling, and architectural design.

Demonstrated success in managing teams or leading complex technical projects.

Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong foundation in RDBMS principles, with hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL database technologies.

Experience in the Networking or Security domain is a plus.

Practical expertise in API consumption and multi-tenant database design.

Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Talend, ETL tools, Hadoop, and more.

In-depth knowledge of database security, compliance practices, and regulatory frameworks.
