This hybrid role combines deep technical expertise with effective team leadership to ensure data is harnessed as a vital asset, driving scalable, intelligent, and high-impact business decisions.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance data architectures that support current needs and future growth.

Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers, analysts, and other specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.

Partner with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams to convert complex requirements into reliable and scalable data solutions.

Evaluate, select, and integrate modern data platforms and technologies that align with the company’s long-term vision and data strategy.

Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of data systems throughout the data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to analytics and visualization.

Define and enforce robust data governance practices, ensuring data quality, security, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Deliver strategic insights and recommendations through data to support high-level decision-making and organizational initiatives.

Champion a data-driven culture by promoting cross-functional collaboration and aligning teams on shared data priorities and KPIs.

Communicate progress, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and successful execution of data initiatives.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in database development, data modeling, and architectural design.

Demonstrated success in managing teams or leading complex technical projects.

Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong foundation in RDBMS principles, with hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL database technologies.

Experience in the Networking or Security domain is a plus.

Practical expertise in API consumption and multi-tenant database design.

Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Talend, ETL tools, Hadoop, and more.

In-depth knowledge of database security, compliance practices, and regulatory frameworks.
