Linux and Network Administrator

Brief DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Linux & Network Administrator with DevOps experience to manage and maintain our organization's Linux systems, network infrastructure, and automation pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Linux environments, networking principles, cloud platforms, and DevOps tools. This role involves ensuring optimal system performance, network availability, deployment automation, and IT security. Key Responsibilities: Linux Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat). Manage user accounts, permissions, and overall system security. Monitor server performance and optimize system resources. Perform regular software updates, patches, and backups. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related Linux issues.

Network Administration:

Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). Monitor and maintain high network performance and availability. Implement and enforce network security measures including firewalls and VPNs. Conduct regular network health checks and ensure performance optimization. Set up and manage services like DNS, DHCP, etc. Maintain robust connectivity for LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

DevOps Engineering:

Work with DevOps tools such as Docker, Git, Kubernetes, etc. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc. Manage infrastructure and deployments on cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. Handle Linux-based virtualized environments. Implement and manage monitoring/logging tools like ELK, EFK, Prometheus, and Grafana. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience.
