Data Manager/Data Architect

Brief DescriptionRole: Data Architect / Manager We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Data Architect/Manager to lead the design, development, and evolution of our data infrastructure. This role combines technical leadership with team management, ensuring data is leveraged as a core asset to enable scalable, intelligent, and high-impact business decisions.

What You’ll Do

Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that support current business operations and future growth.

Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers, analysts, and other contributors, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and innovation.

Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business units to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable data solutions.

Assess, select, and integrate modern data platforms and tools that align with the company’s long-term data strategy.

Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of data systems across the entire lifecycle—from data ingestion and transformation to analytics and reporting.

Establish and uphold strong data governance standards, maintaining data integrity, security, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Provide strategic data insights and recommendations to support executive-level decision-making and organizational priorities.

Promote a data-driven culture by encouraging cross-departmental collaboration and aligning teams around shared data goals.

Report progress, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership with clarity and accountability, ensuring successful and transparent execution.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in database development, data modeling, and architectural design.

Demonstrated success in managing teams or leading complex technical projects.

Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong foundation in RDBMS principles, with hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL database technologies.

Experience in the Networking or Security domain is a plus.

Practical expertise in API consumption and multi-tenant database design.

Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Talend, ETL tools, Hadoop, and more.

In-depth knowledge of database security, compliance practices, and regulatory frameworks.
