eCommerce Solution Lead / Manager [ BigCommerce / Shopify ]

Brief DescriptionWe are a specialized eCommerce development company focused on building high-performing storefronts using  BigCommerce and Shopify. Our mission is to help brands grow through scalable, customized digital commerce solutions. We’re looking for an experienced eCommerce Solution Lead / Manager to oversee and deliver end-to-end eCommerce projects. You’ll work closely with clients, developers, and designers to ensure smooth technical delivery, high-quality code, and strategic alignment with business goals. This role is both technical and client-facing, perfect for someone who can own the solution from discovery to deployment. Key Responsibilities

Lead technical strategy, architecture, and execution of eCommerce projects (primarily Shopify and BigCommerce) Work directly with clients to understand requirements, define solutions, and communicate progress Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope are met Collaborate with developers, QA, and UI/UX teams to ensure technical excellence Guide junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, mentoring, and best practices Evaluate and implement third-party apps, APIs, and custom integrations Stay updated on platform capabilities, industry trends, and emerging technologies Ensure solutions follow SEO, performance, and accessibility best practices Preferred Skills 5+ years of experience in eCommerce development, with at least 2+ years in a lead role Proven experience with BigCommerce (Stencil, GraphQL, APIs) and/or Shopify (Liquid, Storefront APIs) Strong understanding of modern frontend tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React preferred) Experience integrating third-party services like payment gateways, shipping, CRM, ERP, or marketing tools Solid understanding of UX, CRO, and eCommerce performance optimization Excellent communication and project leadership skills Experience working in agile teams or an agency environment is a plus Exposure to headless eCommerce (Catalyst or Hydrogen/Oxygen or Medusa) is a plus
