QA Test Engineer Intern

Brief DescriptionJob Description: QA Test Engineer InternNo: of openings: 2 Location: Trivandrum Job Summary We are looking for a motivated QA Test Engineer Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will assist in testing web, mobile, and desktop applications to ensure they meet quality standards before release.  Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on system requirements.

Execute manual and automated tests (functional, regression) and report results.

Identify, document, and track bugs using defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Review and analyze system specifications to ensure test coverage.

Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to validate fixes.

Document testing phases, defects, and outcomes for stakeholder review.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning) as needed.

 Preferred SkillsRequirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Basic understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and ability to follow test protocols meticulously.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to manual testing and test case development.

Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
