Brief DescriptionLocation: Technopark, Trivandrum Employment: Full-Time, Permanent Experience: 5+ About the Role:The Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist is an experienced professional responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, robust security, and operational excellence. With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, this individual will play a critical role in supporting business operations and enabling digital transformation. Key Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and deploy IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security to support organizational needs. Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud-based servers, storage systems, network devices, and other core infrastructure resources. Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency. Develop, maintain, and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure data integrity and service availability in the event of unplanned disruptions. Lead or participate in infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and the adoption of new technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless solutions. Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures to support operations and auditing. Liaise with external vendors and service providers to manage procurement, support contracts, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Provide advanced technical support to IT staff and end-users, and deliver training as needed to promote infrastructure best practices. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Recommend and implement improvements to infrastructure systems to meet evolving business needs. Preferred Skills Proficiency in managing and administering Windows Server Strong knowledge of networking concepts Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
