IT Support Engineer, Kochi Job Title: IT Support Engineer, Kochi Location: Infopark, Kakkanad Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 2–5 years (preferred) Salary: INR 40,000 – INR 50,000

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer with additional responsibilities in IT Project Coordination and Infrastructure Support. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates who enjoy providing technical assistance while being actively involved in managing IT infrastructure projects and ensuring their successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities: IT Support: • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users (hardware, software, network issues). • Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems, printers, and mobile devices. • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi). • Manage and track IT assets and inventory. • Maintain and monitor system backups, security updates, and patches. Project Coordination: • Assist in planning, organizing, and managing IT infrastructure projects (hardware upgrades, office moves, system migrations). • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution. • Track project progress, update documentation, and escalate issues as needed. • Help prepare project reports, timelines, and stakeholder communication. Infrastructure Assistance: • Support server, storage, and network infrastructure teams with hands-on tasks. • Assist in deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure (cabling, rack setups, hardware installs). • Monitor performance and availability of infrastructure components using relevant tools. • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 2–5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role. • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory. • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP). • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills: • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified (MCP, MCSA), or ITIL. • Experience using project tracking tools like Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project. • Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
