Senior QA Engineer

Brief DescriptionWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong Java expertise and proven experience in building and executing test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should be adept at interpreting complex business requirements and translating them into effective, structured test strategies and cases. With a minimum of 5 years in test automation, the candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Core Java, Selenium WebDriver, and REST API testing using Rest Assured. Key Responsibilities

Analyze complex business requirements and convert them into actionable test strategies and comprehensive test cases.

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using Java.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and seamless test automation integration.

Perform end-to-end functional testing with a focus on high test coverage and alignment with business objectives.

Execute automated tests across web and API layers using Selenium WebDriver and Rest Assured.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to support continuous testing and faster deployments.

Continuously monitor and optimize test execution performance, ensuring rapid feedback during development cycles.

Maintain high standards in code quality, test design, and documentation throughout the QA process.

Analyze test outcomes, document bugs in detail, and collaborate with development teams for prompt resolution.

Preferred Skills

5+ years of experience in test automation using Java.

Strong knowledge of Core Java, including object-oriented principles, exception handling, multi-threading, and file handling.

Proficiency in Java Collections (Lists, Sets, Maps, Queues) and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, including dynamic element handling, custom wait strategies, and cross-browser compatibility.

Proficient in REST API testing using Rest Assured, covering request modeling, authentication, and API validation.

Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for test suite integration and automation pipeline maintenance.

Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, or Locust, with the ability to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
