Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of iOS and Android developers to design, develop, deploy, and maintain features for our mobile automotive applications.
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives in close collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders across the U.S. and Canada.
Manage project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to high-quality standards.
Collaborate with Product, Design, Research, Data Science, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to ensure goal alignment and effective execution.
Mentor and support team members in their technical growth and career development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Provide strong technical leadership by guiding architecture decisions and leading technical discussions—even without day-to-day coding involvement.
Make strategic technical decisions with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and balanced trade-offs.
Advocate for engineering best practices, define key performance metrics, and drive process improvements to optimize team efficiency.
Preferred SkillsQualifications & Requirements
A minimum of 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or engineering management capacity.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MCA.
Proven track record of managing Android and/or iOS engineering teams.
Hands-on experience delivering consumer-facing mobile applications or the backend systems supporting them.
Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and a deep understanding of iterative development and process enhancement.
Excellent communication, project management, and delegation abilities, with experience leading cross-functional projects from ideation to launch.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with a focus on recognizing achievements, providing constructive feedback, and promoting a growth-driven environment.
