Brief DescriptionAbout the Role We’re seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Content QA Specialist to join our content team. This role goes beyond basic proofreading—it serves as the final checkpoint before any content is published. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, optimization, and credibility across all published assets. As a Content QA Specialist, you’ll conduct in-depth manual reviews, identify low-value or AI-generated material, and ensure alignment with SEO best practices and Google’s EEAT principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness).
Key Responsibilities Content Integrity Reviews
Manually evaluate articles, blog posts, and landing pages for grammar, tone, clarity, and consistency with brand voice and style guidelines.
Detect and correct issues such as awkward phrasing, factual errors, and formatting inconsistencies.
SEO and Content Value Assessment
Ensure adherence to on-page SEO best practices, including proper use of meta tags, headers, keywords, and internal linking structures.
Identify and flag thin or low-value content that lacks user relevance or depth.
AI and Plagiarism Monitoring
Use both manual review and tools to detect AI-generated or machine-written content.
Perform plagiarism checks to confirm the originality and authenticity of all published content.
EEAT Compliance Audits
Verify author credentials and assess the reliability of cited sources.
Ensure content reflects subject-matter expertise, proper attribution, and expert input where necessary.
Quality Feedback and Process Optimization
Continuously update and refine the QA checklist to reflect current standards and industry best practices.
Provide clear, constructive feedback to writers and editors to promote continuous content quality improvement.
Preferred SkillsRequirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in content quality assurance, editing, or SEO
Exceptional manual editing skills with strong attention to detail
Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and Google’s content quality guidelines
Proven ability to identify AI-generated content and assess it for human readability
Proficient in using tools such as Grammarly, Copyscape, Copyleaks, Originality.ai, or similar alternatives
Skilled at identifying low-value or thin content and providing actionable improvement recommendations
Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced content production environment
Nice to Have
Educational or professional background in journalism, digital marketing, or technical writing
Experience working with content management systems like WordPress
Familiarity with structured data, Yoast SEO plugin, and content scoring tools
Understanding of content compliance processes and fact-checking workflows
