About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Test Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team onsite at Infopark, Koratty. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through structured testing methodologies. This includes creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of software projects. You will contribute to both manual and API testing efforts while supporting continuous improvement of QA practices. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy a structured testing environment and are passionate about delivering quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities • Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases based on business and functional requirements • Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), API Testing, and UI testing • Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications to identify and document defects • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing using tools such as BrowserStack • Test and validate RESTful APIs using tools like Postman • Manage and track test execution using TestRail, JIRA, and Confluence • Write and run SQL queries to validate backend data and perform data integrity checks • Raise clear and detailed bug reports and follow through to closure • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and deliverables • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Ensure all test documentation is maintained and updated for audit and traceability purposes • Identify opportunities to improve test processes and contribute to test automation readiness

Skills and Experience Required • 3–7 years of hands-on experience in a Software Test Analyst or equivalent QA role • Strong experience in JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Postman, BrowserStack, and SQL • Solid understanding of testing methodologies including SIT, API Testing, and test case design • Proven ability to write clear and detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (or higher) is mandatory • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
