About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals who have working experience in core marine software which includes voyage planning, route optimization and cost calculations. Candidates need work with Marine engineers to identify their pain points and assist them to convert them to a stable workflow from identifying inputs, steps to process and to prepare an acceptable output. The workflows need to be prepared as technical user stories and guide the development team to prepre the software. Sailing experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with crewing managers, and other stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements. • Translate maritime domain knowledge into functional specifications for ERP development. • Lead workshops and discussions with vessel crew (if required) and shore departments to understand pain points and expectations. • Document business processes, workflows, use cases, and user stories. • Provide domain expertise and input into the product roadmap. • Coordinate with developers, QA teams, and UX designers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of features. • Assist with UAT, training sessions, and user onboarding. • Continuously improve ERP usability and functionality based on user feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or a related discipline. • 5 – 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Marine ERP domain. • Familiarity with IMO, MLC, GDPR and STCW regulations is a strong plus. • Understanding of agile development methodologies. • Ability to create BRDs, FSDs, wireframes, workflows, and acceptance criteria. • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
