SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) / SQL Expert

Brief DescriptionJob SummaryWe require an experienced SQL Server DBA/SQL Expert with Azure experience to optimize and maintain our database infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.*Key Responsibilities:*1. Database Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement efficient query design and indexing strategies.2. Query Optimization: Analyze and optimize long-running queries, stored procedures, and database design.3. Database Maintenance: Develop and maintain database maintenance plans, including backups, indexing, and statistics updates.4. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot database issues, including deadlocks, connectivity problems, and performance degradation.5. Azure Cloud Experience: Manage and optimize Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or other Azure database services. Educational Qualification: BTech OR MCA ( Mandatory)Experience: 7-10 years.location:Trivandrum Candidates from South or Trivandrum location only Preferred Skills. SQL Server Expertise: Proven experience with SQL Server (version 2012 or later).2. Query Optimization: Strong understanding of query optimization techniques, indexing strategies, and database design principles.3. Performance Tuning: Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolving database issues.4. Azure Experience: Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or other Azure database services.5. Cloud Migration: Knowledge of migrating databases between on-premises and Azure, including:- Lift-and-shift migrations (on-premises to Azure)- Azure to on-premises migrations (reverse migration)*Other required skills:*1. SQL Profiler: Experience with SQL Profiler and other performance monitoring tools.2. Database Design: Knowledge of database design principles and data modeling.3. Scripting: Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation.4.
