IT Manager

Brief DescriptionPosition Overview:   We are seeking an experienced IT Manager with a strong background in system administration to oversee our organization's IT infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to effectively manage our IT resources and support our business objectives.  Responsibilities:  IT Infrastructure Management: ∙Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and cloud services. ∙Ensure the security, availability, and performance of IT systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and optimization. ∙Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects as needed to support business growth and technological advancements. System Administration: ∙Lead a team of system administrators responsible for managing servers, databases, operating systems, and other IT systems. ∙Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency. ∙Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalated support to resolve critical incidents in a timely manner. IT Operations: ∙Manage IT service desk operations and ensure timely resolution of user support requests and technical issues. ∙Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to procure, deploy, and maintain IT hardware, software, and services. ∙Implement ITIL best practices for incident, problem, change, and asset management to streamline IT operations and improve service delivery. Team Leadership and Development: ∙Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. ∙Set clear performance goals and objectives for team members, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback for professional growth. ∙Identify training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the IT team in alignment with organizational goals. Strategic Planning: ∙Collaborate with senior management to develop IT strategies, roadmaps, and budgets aligned with business objectives and priorities. ∙Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive operational excellence and competitive advantage. ∙Participate in IT governance processes to ensure alignment between IT investments and business strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Software Experience: ∙ERP / SAP Implementation & Management ∙E-Commerce Management (Magento / Shopify) ∙CCTV Security / Surveillance system management mjk ∙Time Attendance & related management ∙Building Management System   Requirements:  ∙Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field. ∙Proven experience (10 plus years) in IT management roles with a focus on system administration. ∙Strong technical proficiency in system administration, networking, virtualization, and cloud. ∙In-depth knowledge of ITIL frameworks, IT service management practices, and industry standards for security and compliance. ∙Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. ∙Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and project management. ∙Industry certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, MCSE, or CCNA are a plus.  Preferred Skills.
