Application Support Engineer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly. Monitor application performance and ensure system availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements. Create and maintain documentation for support processes and procedures. Assist with database queries and data analysis using SQL. Participate in testing and deployment of application updates and enhancements. Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Requirements Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support or a related role. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
