SMT Operator

Brief DescriptionITI Electronics students only need to apply (2022/2023/2024/2025 Bathes only need to apply) Reports to: Production Supervisor/Manager Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SMT Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment, loading components, and ensuring high-quality PCB assembly. Key Responsibilities:  

1. Operate SMT machines (e.g., pick-and-place, solder paste printer) to assemble PCBs.
2. Load components, PCBs, and materials into machines.
3. Monitor production process, identifying and resolving issues.
4. Perform quality checks, inspecting PCBs for defects.
5. Maintain equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
6. Follow safety procedures, IPC standards, and quality guidelines.
7. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
8. Troubleshoot basic machine issues.Preferred SkillsRequirements:  
9. Experience with SMT equipment and processes.
10. Knowledge of electronics components and PCB assembly.
11. Attention to detail, quality-focused.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
