LINUX ADMINISTRATOR (IT ENGINEER / DEVOPS) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Location: Kochi, India

Your Mission: • Plan, design, and maintain our intercontinental network across six global locations. • Optimize our data center packet-switching infrastructure for reliability, low latency, and high throughput. • Keep our network secure using OpenBSD firewalls and manage customer connections via leased lines and VPNs. • Develop and enhance automated network configuration tools using 100% open-source software (e.g. Ansible, Python). • Participate in a rotating on-call system (approximately one week in five, fully compensated). • Assist in maintaining our fleet of ~600 Linux servers (Debian 12, CentOS 8). • Expand your expertise by learning technologies such as Kubernetes and Puppet.

Your Profile: • Programming experience in at least one scripting language: Bash, Perl, or Python. • Strong knowledge of Linux and networking, with proficiency in command-line operations. • Experience with Icinga, Puppet, Hiera, Linux KVM, Git, Facter, Ansible, or MySQL is desirable. • Proficiency in monitoring tools, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers. • Several years of experience in similar environments.
