JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Platform Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that power our applications. You should be comfortable working across Python development, DevOps practices, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain internal tools and services using Python

Design and implement scalable application infrastructure

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts

Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration

Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline application deployment

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the platform stack

Implement security and compliance best practices across systems and deployments

Preferred SkillsRequirements:

3 to 4 years of experience in application/platform engineering

Strong programming skills in Python

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Proficient in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Good understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

Nice to Have:

Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Knowledge of service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)

Exposure to security practices in DevOps
